September’s Subject is – Did you say Fairisle????
We will be discussing color theory and sharing tips to fairisle knitting. Also we will be discussing our knit-a-long, Buggiflooer Hat. This is the Shetland Wool Week hat. Buggiflooer Hat Pattern is $1 at https://payhip.com/b/kepUH. We will talk about picking colors for your hat from your stash.
Please bring 2 contrasting colors of yarn, one light and one dark, either fingering or sport weight and a circular needle, 16 inch or 24 inch in size US 2 or 3.
I can’t wait to see all of you. And I hope you enjoy the Fairisle edition of the newsletter.
Invite all your friends along, this should be a fun one – talking about color is always fun for me.
We will also be able to learn more about the ever popular Shetland Wool Week (https://www.shetlandwoolweek.com/) which takes place in the Shetland Islands on September 23- October 1. Many of the events are offered online for all the see! There is also a KAL for those who are interested.
In addition, we will have show and tell and there will be time for questions and lots of lively conversation!
Everyone is welcome!
Please note the annual dues of $35 is due by October 15th.
