This month we will work on an interesting hat called the Vertical Toque.  Linda will bring the patterns.   You will need to bring heavy worsted yarn and the appropriate needles to get 4 stitches per inch.  You can bring multiple colors if you would like spice things up with some color work.   It is a fun, easy, quick knit that uses some of the skills we have done this year such as short rows.  There will be help for those of us who do not use short rows very often.

We may also have Robin Hu, the owner of The Tangled Thread, that may stop by to give us an update of all the fun things happening there. 

May 6th will be our dyeing workshop.  Ivy Brambles will be back.  This will be a fun evening.  Guests are always welcome.  We do charge a $10 guest fee for non-member that evening.  We will begin taking yarn orders starting tomorrow at the meeting.  If there are any specific colors you would like them to bring, please let us know. Here are the yarns available to dye:

• Worsted – 235 yards -100 grams / 3.5 ounce skeins- $24 per Skein
• DK – 297 yards – 100 grams / 3.5 ounce skeins- $24 per Skein
• Sock –  440 Yards –  100 grams / 3.5 ounce skeins- $26 per skein
