June Meeting- Fun, Food, Laughter and Yarn Swap!

7 PM – June 1, 2022 at Holy Trinity Church, 15 Still River Road, Harvard, MA

We have not held a June meeting in the last 6 years or so. In the past the June meeting was always a fun social event, generally held at someone’s home. We had food and laughter. So I want to bring that back. Let’s have some fun.

We have arranged with the church to hold another meeting in June. So let’s have fun. We will meet on Wednesday June 1 at 7 pm. Let’s bring food and drink to share. And Let’s do a Yarn Swap. Bring any yarn, notions, needles/hooks or books to share. If you don’t have anything to swap, that is ok and please take some home anyway. Anything that doesn’t go home with a new or previous owner, will be donated to Savers.

We can’t wait to see you all (and empty our closets a bit) on Wednesday. Also if you have any thoughts and ideas for future meetings, this would be a good time to share.

November Meeting

Our next meeting is this Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 7:00 pm, at The Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, (formerly known as St. Theresa, The Little Flower Church), 15 Still River Road, Harvard.

Our program for the evening is Meditation and Making with Chris Croucher. As an artist, dancer and healer, Christopher Croucher works with clients to find ways to bring about healing and well-being into their lives. During this month’s NVKG workshop, Chris will lead us through an experience of using the act of crafting to meditate, clear the mind, connect with the body, and find some pathways to healing and self-care. *You do not need to have any prior experience meditating to benefit from this workshop. Just bring a project to work on and get ready to relax! **The best projects for this workshop are ones that are repetitive such as simple knitting projects, spinning, and anything that has a slightly tactile or physical sensation to it such as felting. However, if you find that diving into a complicated project helps you to lose yourself for a bit, by all means, that’ll work too!
