Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at 7:00 pm, at St Theresa, the Little Flower Church, 15 Still River Road, Harvard, MA.
We are pleased to invite back Janet Hampson, who owned the Woolpack in Acton until it closed. Janet is going to teach us Continental knitting. Please bring some yarn and the appropriate size needles to practice on.
If you already know how to knit Continental, you can still attend for a relaxing evening knitting with friends.
Membership dues is $25 a year. Guests may attend the meeting for a $10 charge. As always, please bring any charity knitting you have completed, and projects for “show and tell”. Don’t forget to bring the yarn you dyed at last month’s workshop to show off your dyeing talents!
Our group welcomes knitters of all skill levels, including beginners.
Since this will be our last meeting of the year, a survey will be distributed giving you an opportunity to let the guild board know what you would like for future programs.
An added event to the NVKG Calendar:
Wednesday, June 5, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, Reba Maisel, the former owner of The Fiber Loft in Harvard, is inviting us to enjoy a culmination of a successful guild year with an
OPEN STUDIO & BENEFIT YARN SALE
17 East Bare Hill Rd, Harvard
25% OF THE PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO THE GUILD FOR FUTURE PROGRAMS!
It’s time for Reba to downsize her yarn collection. Many beautiful, hard to find yarns (wools, alpaca, cotton) as well as Rowan, Vittadini, Berroco, noveties, books, kits, and more.
Can you think of a better way to spend a summer (almost) evening!
